Weekly Classes at the Coolum Womens Shed

Gentle Flow Yoga


9.30am - 10.30am

This Gentle Flow Yoga class is open to all ages and abilities,
beginners are welcome.

Classes will move at a slower and steady pace, asanas (poses),
there are modification and also option for more challenging
asanas suitable for the students ability.

It is your practice so take what you need for the mind, body and soul. As you gain strength and flexibility you will start to feel comfortable with the poses, remember: yoga poses should never hur
t so move out of the poses if you experience any pain.

Then take time to enjoy the relaxation /savasana at the end of each classes!

Yoga and Meditation


4pm - 5pm

A perfect way to end the weekend and start the week with this gentle, relaxing and grounding yoga class. First half of the class enjoy a gentle flow yoga and then second half enjoy Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness and set your Sankalpa -positive intention.

and authentic self.

She is a direct reflection of the sacred divinity within.

Our inner consciousness connects with different goddessy attributes at different times at work or play, in the mornings or evenings and through moon cycles.

Each GODDESS brings her essential energy to energise us through each stage. When we recognise and harness the archetypal energy that is working within, and then let her shine with ease, we have successfully reconnected with our own Inner Goddess.

Foundations of Yoga Six Week Private Course

In The Foundation of Yoga Six Week Course you will discover the key foundation poses, their alignment and details. An introduction to the awareness of the breath and body, learning different pranayama techniques and gain an understanding of linking the breath to the poses/asanas.

Along with gaining an understanding that Yoga is so much more than stretching and coming to the mat once a week. You will learn tips and skills to take what you learn on your mat into everyday life, to become more mindful, more aware, more present and more in-love with yourself. 


The program is offered in the comfort of your own home, early
morning, evening or weekends whenever suits you and your
friends or a venue can be arranged at a small extra cost.

The program runs for Six Weeks – 75min sessions

* Welcome, class outline
* Pranayama practice – breathing technique
* Warm up / sun Salutation
* Weekly focus asanas (poses)
* Savasana / relaxation

$150 each minimum 4 yogis
Includes travel, use of mats, blocks, straps and bolsters.


Private One-on-One Yoga or Meditation Sessions

One-on-one session in the privacy of your own home, with classes tailored to your needs.

Options for 1 1/2hour yoga session or 1 hour meditation sessions.

Group Yoga Sessions for Early Childhood Educators

Due to working in Early Education myself for many years, I developed low back issues and suffered from a disc bulge. With Chiropractic care over the years I have been able to manage my back issues and pain but it was YOGA that enable me not to go down the spinal surgery path.


With the gentle practice of Yoga and breathing techniques Childcare Educators can keep their back feeling strong and protected. The breathing and practice of being present are excellent tools to not only use in their personal life but in their interaction with the children in their care.

Sessions are designed with asanas (poses) especially for the back and shoulders suitable for all abilities, with a gentle flow and relaxation/savasana at the end of the session.

Sessions available for staff meetings and/or staff development days.

Also available a 6 week course " Yoga for Educators", one evening a week in the Childcare centre.
